At the beginning of the Spring Festival, China Fish '2005, held in Beijing, China, is a thriving scene of fishing gear trade all over the world. Fishing tackle companies all over the world are interested in the manufacture of fishing gear in China and are building closer ties with China. News from the 2005 China International fishing tackle Exhibition: the exhibition was a success, exhibitors and traders were more than in previous years. On the basis of last year's China International fishing tackle exhibition, the exhibition hall was expanded and booths were set up. Many traders around the world feel that this fishing gear exhibition must not be ignored. On the first day of the exhibition, traders from more than 60 countries and regions surrounded four registered stations, mostly from Europe, the United States, Australia, Japan and Russia. The fishing rods ranked first at the traders' purchase list and were also present at the exhibition as well as several uncommon countries: Argentina, Hungary, Egypt, Israel, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. According to the organizers, about 1000 traders participated in the exhibition from 21 to 23 February. Among them, the number of pre registration was 696, increased by 40% on the basis of last year, and 200 of the traders were registered on the spot. In addition, the exhibitors in China invited 200 traders to the exhibition. The exhibition hall can accommodate 863 stalls, which belong to 274 exhibitors from different countries. Several companies with high reputation in the fishing gear industry, such as SHIMANO in Japan, VMC in France, and MUSTAD in Norway, have established contacts with several of the largest manufacturers of fishing gear in China. Nearly 1/3 of exhibitors were participating in the exhibition for the first time. By encouraging more and more companies to use China's existing resources, China fishing tackle exhibition hopes to continue to establish such cooperation with international enterprises. The idea is easy to understand. The fishing gear companies in Europe and the United States can provide strong technology for research and development of fishing gear and develop new equipment and research and development of fishing gear materials. At the same time, China's fishing tackle manufacturers have many experienced workers and cheap labor costs. The goal of China's fishing tackle is to combine the two together to develop the world's fishing gear trade. Of course, this year's exhibition is widely recognized. Therefore, 84% of the booths in 2006 have been booked by 205 fishing gear companies.
